What We Offer
Join in the practice of connection and self-care by preparing 3 delicious meals from scratch for your “future-self.” All ingredients are purchased, and all you need to do is show up and cook!
Every Tuesday, our Food2Recover team whips up delicious meals for you to enjoy. For $40, you take home five nourishing meals for the week! Each meal consists of a healthy, balanced plate for members to enjoy.
Our registered dietician is here to provide personalized nutrition counseling to FTR members. If you have individual concerns regarding food or nutrition, this can be a great option for you. Topics vary, but can include dealing with eating disorders and body image issues, understanding nutrition in early recovery, handling weight concerns, planning meals, addressing nutrient deficiencies, managing chronic diseases, and eating to support activity. Schedule and pricing to be discussed upon interest.
Every summer, we plant and grow a community garden together. Come join us in planting, caring for, and harvesting its bounty! Talk with the front desk or send us a message to get involved.
We bring in a different member of our community to share a talent and passion of food through a recipe of their choice. Join us with a friend, family member, or child to create positive memories around food and cooking.
We encourage anyone (of any skill level) to share what they love to cook!
Proper nutrition is the foundation of good physical health. It can be especially important during recovery to help keep your blood sugars stable, reduce your cravings, improve and stabilize your mood, and replenish any nutritional deficiencies that may have resulted from substance use. Eating together also helps cultivate our strong community — an essential piece in long-term recovery!
